Eriksson has five games to save Leicester job

Leicester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson is fighting to save his job.

The Daily Express says Eriksson is fighting to save his job and could face as few as five games to avoid the sack.

Leicester's Thai owners are fretting over the fact they sit 10th in the table, with just eight points from six games, after spending more than £12million in the summer.

Eriksson has been told that missing out on promotion would be "a big failure" and Foxes chairman Vichai Raksriaksorn's son Apichet said: "I expect us to challenge for the Championship title and be in the Premier League next season.

"For me, it will be very disappointing if it doesn't happen this season."
