Leicester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson is happy to see Roberto Di Matteo doing so well with West Bromwich Albion.
The Baggies thumped Leicester in the Carling Cup.
"If the league would finish today they would be in Europe," said one-time Lazio boss Eriksson, who tried to sign Roberto Di Matteo in 1998.
"Congratulations to Roberto, he is doing a great job and they are the biggest surprise in the Premier League so far this season.
"They have done very well."
