Sven Goran Eriksson is eyeing a World Cup posting after leaving Notts County.

The Mirror says Eriksson resigned from Notts County last night - and is set to manage at the World Cup.

Both Nigeria and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea want the 62-year-old ex-England boss to take them to South Africa.

The Swede is available after thrashing out a settlement with League Two County for his six months as director of football.
