Manchester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson insists he'd love to sign top English talent - but they're too expensive.

"It's very simple," he said. "There are enough good English players in the Premiership to make a good England team.

"I can get English players, but they cost too much. If I want to buy a player like Elano or Petrov, where can I go to find the English versions of them?"
