Sven Goran Eriksson is delighted with his first days at Manchester City.
He told City's website: "Well, if you look at the table it's very good, but it's only after three games.
"The start has been fantastic for us, of course it has, it couldn't be better. But we have to play a little bit better than we did on Sunday, especially in the second half. We suffered too much.
With City having 12 of the squad away with their countries for most of the week, Eriksson has one simple target in mind for now.
He said: "Our target at this moment is to get the players back from international duty fit, hopefully, all of them.
"Then it's going on to work on attacking and defending, which we started as soon as we came together, and this team will in the near future play better and better."
Ahead of their massive game against Arsenal on Saturday, Eriksson admits: "It's not easy to prepare for a game as you normally would when most of the players will be coming back lunchtime on Thursday.
"We can't do much with them that day, so it's just the Friday session to prepare and that's the price you have to pay if you have good football players in the Club.
"It's better to have a situation like this rather than not having anyone away playing for any national team."
