Sven Goran Eriksson could be on his way from Notts County.
The Mail on Sunday says Eriksson has given Notts County a week to find new investment or he will walk out.
Eriksson, appointed director of football in the summer, has become disillusioned by the broken promises, having been originally told he would have funds to get the League Two club into the Premier League within five years.
As Notts held Wigan Athletic to a 2-2 draw in the FA Cup yesterday, a TV interview was being screened in Sweden in which Eriksson said: "My patience is not infinite. The situation is urgent. January 31 is the deadline to bring in new players. And if we want to be promoted, we have to have new players. Hopefully within a few days something positive will happen."
