New Leicester boss Sven-Goran Eriksson warned his Leicester side they must work harder to succeed in the npower Championship. The former England manager spoke after his first competitive game as Foxes manager ended in a 1-1 draw at home to Hull.
Leicester raced into a second-minute lead but Hull levelled early in the second half.
Eriksson said: "It was a game of two halves. We started the game very well.
"We played good football and scored early on and created other chances.
"But in the late first half and second half we couldn't control it like we did in the first half. We lost the ball and put ourselves in danger.
"It was a game we could have lost, so maybe 1-1 is a fair result.
"We must work and keep our energy for 90 minutes, which we didn't do today."
Eriksson revealed he hopes to boost his Leicester squad with more loan signings.
The Swede has already borrowed full-back Kyle Naughton from Tottenham and centre-back Curtis Davies from Aston Villa.
Both made their Leicester debuts and completed the game.
Eriksson said: "We are looking to improve in all areas and hopefully we will take in one or two more. It's not easy but we are trying very hard."
