New Leicester City boss Sven-Goran Eriksson does not want to be judged on his tenure as Foxes manager until after Christmas. The Swede oversaw a 1-1 draw against Hull in his first game in charge on Saturday.
The result left Leicester languishing in the bottom three of the Championship and Eriksson knows he is under pressure to transform the club's fortunes quickly.
"Of course, people will start judging me now but that is football," Eriksson told the Leicester Mercury. "How long is it to Christmas, two months? I hope after Christmas. January is important for us.
"It is tough because we have played 11 games and we are still in the bottom three, but there are 35 games to go and it could be possible (to mount a promotion challenge).
