Christian Eriksen insists Tottenham will be stronger next season.
Eriksen believes that it was inevitably a transitional season following the world record sale of Gareth Bale and the need to rebuild so much of the squad.
"Obviously there have been ups and downs, but I think that is normal when you get so many new players and you all try to adapt as quickly as possible," he said.
"I'm one of the new guys, so it's the same for me, too. Then of course we changed our manager so we had to adapt again.
"I think we have a really strong squad full of very good players. We just have to learn about each other's game and connect as quickly as possible. We have had players coming from all over the world and so clicking together doesn't happen overnight."
