Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen will be out for a month with his ankle injury.

The Mirror says Spurs feared that the 21-year-old playmaker had ruptured ankle ligaments during Denmark's 2-1 win over Norway following a late tackle from Vegard Forren.

However, scans have revealed that the £11.5 million summer signing from Ajax has suffered only a sprain and will instead only be out for a matter of weeks rather than months.
