FC Dallas and forward Eric Hassli have mutually agreed to terminate his contract.
Per team and league policy, terms of the deal will not be disclosed.
Hassli made 15 appearances for FC Dallas in 2013, including four starts, before a back injury landed the big striker on the disabled list for much of the season. The injury resurfaced during the 2014 preseason, continuing to sideline the Frenchman.
FC Dallas acquired Hassli in a trade with Toronto FC on Feb. 4, 2013.
