Tottenham's players would prefer to play their Champions League home games at White Hart Lane, says Eric Dier.
Spurs have started work on their new 61,000-seat stadium and that means facing Monaco at Wembley on Wednesday.
Midfielder Dier, 22, said: “We are playing at Wembley and the fans are really going to enjoy that and so will we.
“Obviously, we'd like to play at White Hart Lane — that's our home ground.
“But the club is building a new stadium so the situation is perfectly understandable.
“To be able to play at Wembley in the Champions League is going to be a fantastic experience.
“Not many people are going to be able to say they did that. Everyone is looking forward to playing at such a prestigious venue."
