Eric Bailly is proud to be representing Ivory Coast at Manchester United.

The defender has performed well in his games so far, providing a balance to the centre of defence.

Bailly, who has won 16 caps for his country and won the Africa Cup of Nations last year, said: “This is one of the largest football clubs in the world and the news of a young African player coming here has been seen all round the world.

“I have friends at home who say there are people there celebrating as though they were the ones here themselves!"
