Eric Abidal has taken a swipe at the current Barcelona board.

Abidal is part of presidential candidate Joan Laporta's ticket, with the election to be held on Saturday.

"I left the club in tears because there were people there who did not keep their word," said Abidal.

The Frenchman will be Laporta's technical director should he win the election.

"We have some players in mind but I don't know if we're going to announce them. If we win, we will let you know. It is true that Pogba is on the list, but we also have other players in mind."
