Manchester United star Wayne Rooney saw friends battle on his behalf at Glastonbury.
The Mirror reports Rooney - there with his wife Coleen and a 12-strong entourage - attracted some all too predictable bother on Saturday night.
Rooney, who was watching the magnificent Elbow, was heckled by some drunken fans towards the end of their set.
Some of the players' pals are then said to have got involved - and it turned into a bit of a scrap in the mud.
With Rooney looking on, drinks were sent flying and unpleasant expletives uttered before security waded in to break up the eight-man brawl.
A source close to the Rooneys said: "Fans had been bombarding Wayne all afternoon, demanding photos and autographs and it all got a bit much. He didn't throw any punches though and, if anything, Wayne was the one trying to defuse the heated situations."
