Enrique low-key after first Roma triumph

AS Roma coach Luis Enrique was pleased with victory over Parma.

He finally broke his duck in Italian football with a 1-0 victory at the Stadio Tardini.

"I am satisfied. The first win came against a difficult side and despite the dangers of the final minutes. I am happy for the players, the fans, the football and the result," smiled the Spaniard.

"My football is about playing well and scoring goals. Those are my objectives. Without doubt we could've handled the final stages better, as the team wanted so much to win that it became terrified of dropping the lead. It had already happened against Siena on Thursday.

"Compared to that game, we are passing the ball around quicker. I remember in previous matches we also had good possession, but we want to try something different that gives us a better chance of scoring.

"Pablo Osvaldo and Fabio Borini were excellent, as they have the quality to play this type of football.

"Francesco Totti is a totally different player to the others. He did his best today in terms of hard work and attitude.

"He has all the freedom to play within our front line, as he can hold on to the ball in more dangerous situations, but it's not easy when your opponents won't let you pass it round."
