AS Roma coach Luis Enrique was delighted with their thumping win over Novara.

Roma fought back from a goal down to thrash Novara 5-2., with January signing Marquinho among the goal scorers.

"This was a very difficult game for us, as it kicked off at an unusual time, it was very hot and our opponents were in great shape," said Enrique.

"I compliment the team, as they did everything they had to do despite going behind and I am happy for the fans. They deserve praise for overcoming many dangerous obstacles.

"Marquinho is a very physical player who runs hard, can burst forward and has a powerful shot. He is a great reinforcement from the January transfer window."
