West Ham United fought off late rival interest to sign Pachuca striker Enner Valencia last week.
The Daily Star Sunday says the Ecuador star, 25, signed a five-year deal with the Hammers despite an 11th-hour approach from Inter Milan.
West Ham signed Valencia for £12 million.
