The English FA are set to receive a sponsorship boost.
The Daily Mail says the FA are to receive the considerable boost of Vauxhall renewing their England team sponsorship for the next World Cup cycle even before Roy Hodgson's side have qualified for Brazil 2014.
Vauxhall, who began negotiations with the FA last December, are expected to sign a new four-year contract up to 2018 around the time of England's games with San Marino and Montenegro next month.
The deal will be worth £6million a year, a decent increase on the current agreement, and will help put the Wembley finances on an improved footing ahead of the tenders for the next TV rights contracts which are most pivotal to the FA's fortunes.
