Eric Dier has stated that the emergence of young players will give England manager Roy Hodgson some selection headaches leading up to Euro2016.
Following a period of struggle, things finally might be looking up for the England national team as young players such as Dier and Dele Alli have fitted seamlessly into the side recently.
The emergence of the Tottenham duo has given Hodgson a bigger pool of players to choose from and now Dier has stated that he is looking to give the England boss a selection headache by continually producing good performances.
In the wake of his first international start in the 2-0 win over France on Tuesday, Dier said: "I am sure that's what the manager wants, problems.
"Hopefully we have given him some and us young lads have just got to keep pushing.
"I am sure more experienced players will be worried about that and they'll keep pushing. It is just a matter of keep going and see what happens. I just try my best and see where that takes me."
