England win U21 Toulon Tournament

England have won the U21 Toulon Tournament with victory over Mexico in the final.

Goals from Middlesbrough defender Dael Fry and and Everton's Kieran Dowell sealed a 2-1 win over Mexico for Aidy Boothroyd's men.

And fans will now be hoping it's a sign for success in Russia this month as England go in search of a first World Cup since 1966.

In a scrappy match, it was the Young Lions who took home the top prize for the third successive time.

The result sets somewhat of a marker ahead of the start of the World Cup next week, and England's senior lads will be hoping to draw some inspiration from their younger counterparts.
