England U21 coach Gareth Southgate has revealed plans to test the nation's youth teams against stronger opposition.
Southgate says it's important England's youngsters test themselves against better teams.
"You might lose a game and actually have performed very well. We have got to focus on performance and if you get that right, the chances are the result will come.
"I think we are looking through all the age groups to maybe exposing our players to different matches. The Under 16s are going to the United States soon and we are looking outside of Europe."
