England U21 coach Gareth Southgate admits money is a problem for his young players.
Southgate, who won 57 caps, believes the mental approach to coaching the stars of the future is just as important as the tactical and physical side of the game.
"Having so much money at their age is difficult for them," said Southgate, who managed Middlesbrough for three years before being sacked and taking a break from the game.
"I'm not sure how I'd have coped with it as a player. The psychological side is as important as the technical and fitness sides. If a player's just technically good that doesn't guarantee a career at top level."
