England U21 boss Pearce heaps praise on Derby young gun Hughes

Derby County teenager Will Hughes has been praise by England U21 manager Stuart Pearce.

The 17-year old midfielder was voted second in England's Youth Player of the Year behind Chelsea's Watford loanee Nathaniel Chalobah on Sunday night and his performances, particularly for the Rams have not gone unnoticed by the Young Lions boss.

"Will Hughes is a real talent in the Championship and he's exciting to watch," said Pearce.

"We have to make sure he doesn't play too many games as he's still young but he's worthy of his place in that Derby team as he makes them tick."
