West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Ben Foster could make an international U-turn.
The Birmingham Mail says England boss Roy Hodgson has spoken to the in-form Baggies No.1 about a potential return to the national squad.
And Foster could be named in the squad for the forthcoming World Cup qualifiers against San Marino and Montenegro, due to be announced in a fortnight's time.
Should it happen, Foster's return would certainly boost the goalkeeping department, which lacks an experienced challenger to current first choice keeper Joe Hart, of Manchester City.
