Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge and Cardiff defender Steven Caulker missed England training ahead of World Cup qualifiers against Moldova and Ukraine. Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere sat out the session after being substituted in the North London derby win over Tottenham on Sunday with a stomach bug.

Jermain Defoe also took part in a recovery session after suffering a knock at the Emirates.

The Three Lions will face Moldova at Wembley in Group H on Friday before a difficult trip to Kiev to meet Ukraine the following Tuesday.
