England suffered a narrow defeat by Uruguay in their opening fixture of the Under-20 World Cup finals.
The Group D clash looked to be heading for a goalless draw until a superb piece of skill from substitute Tabare Viudez.
Viudez produced an acrobatic volley after 84 minutes to fire past England goalkeeper Elliott Parish.
A tight first half had produced few clear-cut chances but Uruguay threatened more after the interval and the strike from Viudez deservedly won the game.
