England captain Steven Gerrard says he is content with his side's point from tonight's 1-1 World Cup qualifying draw with Poland in Warsaw.
The rescheduled fixture saw Wayne Rooney open the scoring with a lucky shouldered effort from Gerrard's 31st minute corner before Kamil Glik levelled in the 70th minute and even though the showing wasn't up to scratch on a wet pitch, the Three Lions skipper was happy not to be beaten.
"I thought they handled the pitch better than us, which is disappointing but we're not going to grumble," he said.
"We're disappointed not to take three points and our points tally at this stage could be better.
"But a point here is not a bad result."
