England are allowing recently fit striker Danny Welbeck to participate in a personalised training regiment on the request of Arsenal.

Welbeck missed the majority of the current campaign due to a serious knee injury but having impressed upon his return to Arsenal, the striker was included in the 30-man Three Lions squad for upcoming friendlies against Germany and the Netherlands.

Arsenal still remain cautious regarding Welbeck's fitness though and have managed to get the striker on a individual training programme with the England national team after having a special request granted.

Roy Hodgson's side plays Die Mannschaft in Berlin on Friday before hosting the Oranje at Wembley on Tuesday.
