England satisfied with qualifying start - Man Utd's Welbeck

England are happy to take four points from two 2014 World Cup qualifying matches according to Danny Welbeck.

Roy Hodgson's outfit defeated Moldova 5-0 in Chisinau on Friday before netting a late leveller against Ukraine to force a 1-1 draw at Wembley on Tuesday night.

The results have the team sitting second in Group H behind Montenegro on goal difference and Manchester United striker Welbeck feels that is a reasonable beginning.

"Ukraine were a really difficult side to come up against and they showed that today. They've got a few good players and the goal they scored was outstanding," Welbeck told the FA's official website after the match.

"I think the team dug in really well and in the end we were happy with the 1-1 draw.

He added: "Every single game we go into we want to try and get three points, unluckily (against Ukraine) we didn't get that. But I think we're satisfied we four out of six points from the first two games."
