England's Rooney hasn't seen anything to be afraid of

England striker Wayne Rooney says there is nothing to afraid of at this year's World Cup.

17 games into the tournament and the Manchester United man is yet to see an exciting match and he also believes that there are not many teams who have a real stranglehold on the tournament so far.

"To be honest all the games I've watched haven't been exciting. I hope it gets a little bit more exciting," he said.

"I thought the Germans looked good, but they are ¬beatable. I am confident we can do well and sure we can qualify from this group for the next round.

"Winning, that's why I love football so much, it is to win. I have seen nothing to be afraid of."
