England's Capello still holding onto World Cup dream

England boss Fabio Capello believes it is still a realistic dream for his side to hold aloft the World Cup.

Despite producing two lacklustre draws in their Group C matches, the Three Lions manager is adamant the group is good enough to take out the prize, providing of course that they beat Slovenia on Wednesday night.

"This group is really good because I'm not crazy when I said my target is the final of the World Cup," he said.

"My target, as you know, was to get to the final. We have not had good results but we are ready to fight.

"I showed this is a really good (squad). I think if - no, not if - when we win then all the teams have to fight against us.

"It's a play-off. For me, it's a play-off, like a final in the Champions League, a semi-final in the Champions League. That's the spirit we have to play. From the first moment, we have to win.

"At this moment, we're down from the level that they know, I know, we all know. But I think tomorrow we'll be fit to fight."
