Stewart Downing insists the England players are not getting involved in talk regarding Rio Ferdinand.
The Manchester United defender has surprisingly been left out of Roy Hodgson's Three Lions squad for Euro2012 on two occasions with the Football Association attracting plenty of criticism for the decision.
But Liverpool winger Downing has made it clear that the playing group are not even thinking about the omission of the centre-back.
"Whoever gets picked, whoever the manager picks, we just get on with.
"I just concentrate on my own job in the team and why I am here and I am sure the other players are like that.
"I think it has obviously been built up, but players just get on with it.""No, certainly not," he said.
