England full-back Leighton Baines believes results have improved lately because the players have taken extra responsibly.
The Three Lions have recorded seven wins and a draw since their disappointing World Cup performance in Brazil last year and Everton's Baines is of the belief that the players are heeding more advice from the coaching staff and taking it upon themselves to improve things in the national setup.
"It's just the lads getting on with the job and trying to improve," he told Sky Sports News HQ.
"The staff have been working really hard to get the messages and instructions across and for the players to take responsibility.
"I think you've seen some of that come across in the performances."
