England's stars have agreed to give this summer's World Cup match fees to charity for the first time, reports The Sun. Captain Rio Ferdinand and his squad have been putting international appearance money into a charity pot for the last two years, raising more than £1million.
Charities that will benefit include WellChild, Children's Hospices UK, the Bobby Moore Fund, the PFA and the Team England Footballer's Charity Outreach Programme.
Defender John Terry said: "We have all come from estates.
"We have people in our own families who are very sick or need help. That's why these charities mean so much to us."
