England coach Roy Hodgson insists they are on course to find a suitable base in France for Euro 2016. The FA have been searching for possible venues since last September with Hodgson keen to avoid the travel problems endured at the last two major tournaments.
"We are not struggling, we are way ahead," said Hodgson. "I was worried that when you go out [and look at bases] as early after only five matches of qualifying you could be accused of arrogance. But we are way ahead of most teams."
