England Under-20 manager Noel Blake says national team coaches are excited by the talent coming through Arsenal's youth system.

He told arsenal.com: "In the past it was said that they relied on a lot of foreign players but from our point of view, in the development squads, there is a lot of young, talented players from Arsenal.

"That is at all age groups, Theo [Walcott] is in the first team squad, then there is [Kieran] Gibbs knocking on the Under-21 door, the likes of Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, Henri Lansbury, Gavin Hoyte and Rhys Murphy one step down. Then going down even younger you've got Benik Afobe and Chuks Aneke - the list goes on and on.

"It is great that a major club like Arsenal have a lot of young English players throughout their squad system."
