Former England captain Terry Butcher is delighted to see the oldest international fixture in world football being revived.
Butcher claims that even organising a Scotland-England clash in the middle of European Championship qualifiers won't detract from the cross-border magic.
"I don't think you can ever overshadow an England v Scotland game really," said the Hibs boss to the Mail on Sunday.
Alluding to the famous 1967 Wembley win for Scotland, he added: "For Scots, it would still be a major feather in Gordon Strachan's cap to win - even if you'd never become world champions because we will never be world champions again!
"From an English perspective, you don't want to lose face by losing to Scotland. It stands alone for me - even if I'm biased. It's a fantastic fixture so I wouldn't worry about games round about it.
"I'm delighted it's back. It's a great fixture - the oldest international game in the world."
