Stoke City and England legend Gordon Banks feels Thomas Sorensen may leave the Brit.
Sorensen has entered new contract talks with the Potters.
Banks told The Sentinel: "Sorensen is a good goalkeeper as well, so his playing doesn't weaken the team.
"But it is difficult to keep an international goalkeeper happy when someone is pushing him out of the position and playing well.
"I am not sure he would want to stay if things stay as they are. He will stay for a while to see how he goes and then probably decide there's not much future here and try to get another club.
"We will see, but I am hoping things stay as they are."
