England's goalkeeper crisis has led coach Fabio Capello to check on Norwich City's John Ruddy.
The Daily Mail says such is the desire to recruit keepers from English football's top division Capello has given consideration to 24-year-old Norwich City No 1 Ruddy, formerly of Everton.
He was scouted at Chelsea on Saturday but right now he is considered one for the future, though being sent off in that game probably did not help.
