The former England star played for both clubs during his sparkling career but was set to miss the Europa League contest on Thursday after being invited by Lazio general manager Maurizio Manzini.
However, Gascoigne’s agent has confirmed the 45-year old will make the trip despite his fear of flying before returning to take up his duties at a function in England on Friday morning.
"Paul will now go to the Lazio game. He is looking forward to seeing the fans because he has a great affection for them,” said his representative Terry Baker.
Spurs take on Lazio on Match Day 5 of Europe’s second tier club competition sitting in second spot on the Group J table, two points behind Thursday’s opponents, and two ahead of third-placed NK Maribor.
