Jermaine Jones' future at New England Revolution appears to be clouded according to Taylor Twellman.
The ESPN pundit and former Revs star suggests that midfielder Jones may be on his way out at the Gillette Stadium this MLS off-season.
It is believed that clubs in England, Germany and Brazil are keeping tabs on the 34-year-old Designated Player who joined New England in September last year.
However, Twellman has hinted that there may be complications regarding any potential transfer if a bigger MLS club happened to become interested in Jones who counts Bayer Leverkusen, Schalke, Blackburn Rovers and Besiktas as some of his former clubs.
Twellman posted the following on Twitter:
If @Jermainejunior stays in @MLS it will NOT be in NE. Interests from ENG, GER, BRA are there but does a big @MLS team spend $ to get him?

Spending $$ means JJ will have to be acquired via a trade with NE...this will be very interesting to watch. https://t.co/bcYDgkezVE
