Norwich City manager Paul Lambert feels the recent form of goalkeeper John Ruddy could have him in contention for the England team.
The 25-year old has produced some massive moments for the Canaries in their return to the Premier League this season, particularly in the 1-1 draw with Liverpool on Saturday, and his manager indicated that he has complete faith in his number one custodian.
"I said to John after the game when you play at a really high level, big players will produce big moments and big performances," he said to the Eastern Daily Press.
"That is the nature of the game. That save I thought was world class and I hear all the rumours that England might be looking at him.
"Listen, England could do a lot worse than look at him. That is for sure. We're not just a hard-working side; we have some top players who are creating a name for themselves."
