England coach Roy Hodgson is seriously considering Everton defender John Stones for his World Cup squad.
The Telegraph says such has been Stones's impact, however, that just like Southampton's 18-year-old Luke Shaw, Hodgson is giving serious consideration as to whether he should be included in the provisional 30-man squad he names next month ahead of Brazil.
The youngster has been a revelation for Everton since breaking into the first team over the Christmas period.
