England coach Hodgson wants to stay long-term

England coach Roy Hodgson feels he can deliver success - if the FA back him long-term.

Hodgson, 66 is upbeat as he prepares for this summer's World Cup in Brazil.

And he is looking to his employers to at least honour the contract he signed two years ago.

Hodgson said: "I signed a four-year contract and whether contracts mean four years when you sign them is nothing to do with me - that will be someone else's decision.

"But I will be working hard to fulfil the contract and hopefully the FA will fulfil their side of it.

"And another one after that? Who knows?"
