England coach Roy Hodgson is ready to run the rule over Celtic striker Gary Hooper.
Hooper, who was the subject of four failed bids from Norwich City during the transfer window, was left kicking his heels in Glasgow this week, despite both Jermain Defoe and Daniel Sturridge pulling out of the Brazil friendly, which ended in a 2-1 win for England.
"I am looking forward to seeing him play against Juventus," said Hodgson. "We know that he is a player that we could quite possibly have some good use out of, but first I need to see him myself.
"We know he is doing well up there, we know what he is about."
