England coach Capello rejects bumper tell-all book deal

England coach Fabio Capello has rejected a bumper book deal.

The Sun says Capello has turned down a £1million offer to write a book about England's World Cup campaign.

The England coach gave an emphatic 'No' when approached by top American sports agent Charlie Stillitano to give his inside view of the 2010 finals in South Africa.

Stillitano is a hugely powerful and persuasive figure, who heads up the sports division of the world-renowned Creative Artists Agency.

CAA look after top Hollywood stars like Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Sandra Bullock plus sports stars such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Jose Mourinho.

Yet not even their glamorous connections and Stillitano's famed negotiating skills could persuade Capello to go ahead with it.
