England coach Fabio Capello stands head-and-shoulders above his international rivals in the earning stakes.
Marca says Capello earns three times more than his nearest rival and a ludicrous amount more than the managers he will meet in the group stage of the World Cup.
While the England boss commands an annual wage approaching £6million - Marca claims it is more - the USA's Bob Bradley is on £246,599, while Matiaz Kek of Slovenia and Rabah Saadane of Algeria are said to both earn £221,902 a year.
Capello comfortably eclipses his fellow Italian, Marcello Lippi, who, despite guiding his country to victory in the last World Cup, is on £1,848,465.
Capello also earns substantially more than the managers of the two teams widely regarded as favourites. For coaching Spain, Vicente del Bosque earns £1,355,863, while Brazil's Carlos Dunga earns £755,265.
