QPR goalkeeper Rob Green says his recent England call-up will only benefit his club.
The R's gloveman, 35, was included in Roy Hodgson's Three Lions squad for this weekend's Euro2016 qualifier against Lithuania and next week's friendly with Italy and he suggests it can only give him a confidence boost at a tough time of the year for the struggling west London outfit.
"There is always the 'club v country' debate with this sort of thing," Green told qpr.co.uk.
"If it gives me confidence, which it does, and it helps me make a save through greater confidence, then great.
"I have been on the international scene for too long to remember now, and it's something that you always learn from, every time you go.
"Playing with the best and against the best is something that can only inspire you and improve you."
