England boss Fabio Capello is unlikely to change his midfield selection after last night's World Cup qualifier victory over Kazakhstan.
Capello indicated that he is likely to persist with the controversial midfield pairing of Liverpool's Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard, of Chelsea, in Belarus on Wednesday.
"I thought they played well together," he said. "It was not perfect at the start but it was better after that. It will be a tougher game against Belarus. I saw them against Ukraine and they did very well."
Capello hopes to have John Terry back for the midweek trip. Terry's back injury forced him to miss yesterday's game but he is expected back in training tomorrow.
